BMC Transforms Fairway Buick

June 1, 2011

Boyd Martin Construction recently completed the 9,000-square-foot interior and exterior renovation of Fairway Buick GMC on East Sahara Avenue. The project was a design-build project for which Boyd Martin teamed with APTUS Architecture. The showroom was expanded by 4,000 square feet, and the entire facility was remodeled to meet current codes and General Motors standards. The footprint of the existing structure did not change, but the finished product makes it appear as though the entire facility was reconstructed. The project is the first phase of a three-phase project. When all phases are completed, the project will modernize the entire facility and include more than 70,000 square feet of new construction and 50,000 square feet of renovated existing structures. The facility will remain open and fully functional throughout each phase of construction, therefore, careful planning and coordination is critical.  Phase II is now underway, with phase III to begin shortly.
